T-Mobile will be having an Open House during Small Business Week on May 15th from 12-2 at their 2946 US Route 34 location.  They will have food and beverages catering in with special promos for business accounts.

old post elementary fundraiser at the garden faire

The Old Post Elementary School PTA is hosting a spring fundraiser in conjunction with The Garden Faire in downtown Oswego May 11- May 13.  10% of all purchases by customers will go back to Old Post`s book closet in hopes of purchasing a new collection for the school library.  Everyone is welcome to attend and complete a purchase credit form that will be available at The Garden Faire.  Saturday, May 12 will have many fun events including pot painting, face painting, give aways and raffles.  This is the perfect opportunity to support a local school and business! 

duck season is open for the rotary club of oswego

Duck season is open for the Rotary Club of Oswego – don’t forget to purchase your ducks for the Annual Duck Race - you could be the $10,000 Lucky Duck Winner on June 17th.  The race will take place after the parade around 3 pm at Hudson Crossing Park - I ticket = $5.00, 5 tickets (quack pack) = $20.00, or 15 tickets (flock) = $50.00.  Call Jennifer Jones Sinnott to purchase your tickets at 630-606-3967.

energetic health yoga classes

Energetic Health Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, Yorkville, will be offering classes in Yoga Basics, a five week yoga class for beginners.   Yoga Basics is designed to bring the absolute beginner a framework for practicing yoga and for already practicing yogis, a way to refresh the foundation and go back to basics.  This 5 week series class will emphasize the standard yoga poses with powerful biomechanics, learning to move the basic poses with the breath so you can experience how yoga is a holistic approach to well-being.  Yoga is fun and for every-BODY (wide, narrow, tall, short, loose and everything in between) and best of all YOU FEEL GOOD!!  Classes will begin Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 1pm-2:30pm and will run 5 consecutive weeks.  The cost of the series is $60.00.  Space is limited and reservations are required.  Please call 630-553-1783 for more information.
