ALDEN OF WATERFORD

Come see the top College baseball players from around the country play.  Come out and play in a Moon Jump, catch a foul ball, run the bases and get autographs after the game.  Meet the players and Mascot Dinger.  This event will benefit the Leukemia Research Foundation and will be held on Monday, August 4 at 7:05 pm at the Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex.  $6 per person (kids 5 and under free).  Questions?  Contact Jon Young at 630-241-2255

BICKFORD ASSISTED LIVING & MEMORY CARE

Bickford Assisted Living & Memory Care will be having their Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting on August 7th from 5-8 pm.  They will also be having an Open House on Saturday, August 9th from 10-4 and Sunday, August 10th from 1-5.

COMFORT ZONE BBQ RESTAURANT

The Comfort Zone is now offering live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.  Local Jazz Guitarist John Ivan of Aurora will begin the Jazz on Friday and Michelle Morgan will be the vocalist on Saturday (she is also another local talent).

DANCE WITH FLAIR

Dance With Flair, located at 168 S. DAYONE NETWORK

A 5K Run on Sept. 7 will raise money for DayOne Network, an organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities.  The Run for DayOne is planned for 8 am at Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Ave., St. Charles.  A half-mile "family walk" follows at 9 am.  Entry fees, which include one t-shirt, are $20 per Runner, and $20 per Family of Walkers.  Additional t-shirts are available for $6 each.  To register or for more information, visit www.dayonenetwork.org or call 630.879

LITTLE WHITE SCHOOL MUSEUM
