Earthmover Credit Union to Hold Free Community Shred Event
OSWEGO, Ill. – Earthmover Credit Union will hold a free Community Shred Event from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday Oct. 23 at 2205 Baseline Road, Oswego.
In celebration of International Credit Union Day, which takes place Oct. 21 and is an opportunity to recognize the positive impact credit unions have on the community, ECU’s Community Shred Event will be a chance for people to securely destroy documents with personal information.
Community members can come to the event to get two file boxes of old documents shredded for free. This event will be drive-thru, and people are encouraged to stay in their car the entire time. ECU staff will take documents to the on-site shred truck where they will be securely destroyed. Optional monetary donations for the Fox Valley United Way will be accepted.
