COVID-19 is having a major impact on Oswego. As a community comprising many small businesses, we are profoundly affected by the current economic circumstances.
We also are, and always will be, a community that cares and looks out for one another. We’ve organized a directory of Oswego businesses and organizations facing difficult disruptions. We encourage Oswegoans to refer to it and shop locally as we pull through this time together.
Your Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce is here to help support you during this challenging period. If you are a Chamber business that is contending with recent developments, please share your announcement or update with us.

We can’t promise we’ll be back to normal next week, but we can and DO promise to give the very best of ourselves to helping you stay motivated in the meantime. .
With smaller classes and slightly shorter class times to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfecting between classes and on rest days, we’ve temporarily expanded our open gym hours AND put in overtime into our programming. Current members can now stop by and ‘check out’ equipment that will be used in carefully crafted ‘at home’ wods that allow you to get the same stimulus and killer workout without leaving the house. .
Keep checking our Facebook athlete’s group page for what equipment you’ll need to borrow, and for tips on how to stay healthy and fit during the #covid19pandemic .
The Park District is canceling all programs and activities and closing all facilities following the completion of programs on Friday, March 13, 2020.
While the Oswegoland Park District has no confirmed COVID-19 cases, we are exercising an abundance of caution. The Park District closure follows Oswego School District 308 and recommendations from public health officials to minimize exposure to participants and staff.
The Park District will continue to work closely with local city, school, and health department authorities to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will re-evaluate the situation and inform the community of any decisions. The Park District anticipates resuming regular operations on Tuesday, March 31.
We are so sorry to inform you all that we will be closed for the next 2 weeks beginning at 3:00pm today. We want to do our part and stop the spread of COVID-19, keeping our members as healthy and safe as possible! Stay tuned for at home workouts and plenty of tips/tricks 🙌🏼 #ssfstrong #stayhealthy #deepbreaths #strongertogether
