COVID-19 is having a major impact on Oswego. As a community comprising many small businesses, we are profoundly affected by the current economic circumstances.
We also are, and always will be, a community that cares and looks out for one another. We’ve organized a directory of Oswego businesses and organizations facing difficult disruptions. We encourage Oswegoans to refer to it and shop locally as we pull through this time together.
Your Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce is here to help support you during this challenging period. If you are a Chamber business that is contending with recent developments, please share your announcement or update with us.

PLEASE NOTE: Given concerns regarding COVID-19, and our social and ethical responsibility to minimize
our contribution to the spread of it,
our March and April events have been cancelled.
The DEN Community Group has closed its indoor skatepark and community center to the public. We will be opening again as soon as the current shelter in place quarantine restrictions are lifted. In the mean time, we are selling skate session punchcards for future use on our website at www.skatetheden.com

We continue to be available to you to help you with your family law needs. Please leave a detailed voicemail message at 630-777-8170 and send your lawyer an email if you need us. Jody Weis’ email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Carrie Gorup’s email address is email@example.com.
In compliance with a state mandate for social distancing, The Learning Experience in Montgomery, IL will be closed effective 3/21/2020. The center is currently scheduled to reopen on April 8th, however that may change. Please check back for future updates. Thank you and please stay safe and well.
For those of you who are in communities or have family members in communities, we have raised our
preventative measures to limit all visitors to our communities which means we have taken the next step
and are only allowing necessary medical providers and visitation for residents at end of life into the
communities for the indefinite future.
A very surreal last 24 hours and things seem to be changing very rapidly. Our office will remain open until we receive further notification from authorities. If our office does close at their advice, we will work remotely during our normal business hours. The office phone will be forwarded, so you can still reach out to us that way or as always via email.
In the next few days, Farmers will be communicating to customers to reinforce the availability of our digital tools, including Farmers.com (where you can obtain policy documents, make payments and file claims), the refreshed Mobile APP and our Claims self-service options. In addition, this communication will let customers know they have the option to call for an extension on their payment and provides an overview of our efforts to keep staff healthy.
We hope everyone stays healthy and safe. We sincerely appreciate our healthcare workers on the front lines who are working tirelessly for our safety.
We hope all of our patients and their families have stayed safe and healthy during the Covid-19 crisis.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our processes were designed so that when you, our patient, receives care, you stay as safe as possible. We have always followed recommendations made by the ADA, CDC, and OSHA.
We have made the following changes to protect our patients and staff:
-Immediately before coming to the office, patients will need to thoroughly brush their teeth.
-Masks are required for everyone entering the office.
-All parents and other family members must remain in their cars unless you need to speak with Dr. Robb or the front desk staff. If Dr. Robb needs to speak to a parent, we will ask the patient to text you so you can come in. The waiting room will be for the exclusive use of our patients waiting for their appointments. (Please wait for your child in the car, do not leave the parking lot to run errands. For the safety of other patients and our staff, once their appointment is complete, they cannot remain in the waiting room)
-Upon entry, please use the hand sanitizer to the right of the door.
-When our patients arrive at our office, they will be asked health screening questions, and have their temperature taken. Any patient with a temperature above 99.5° will be rescheduled. We will be checking them in at the front desk rather than the check in computer.
-Scheduling will be arranged to allow for proper social distancing of our patients. We will not have the full use of the operatory. Please know that while we are trying to get everyone in as quickly as possible, the limited use of the operatory means we will be able to see less patients on a daily basis than normal. We have also done our best to manage the time so that there will be little wait time before being called to the operatory. That means that we may not have time to complete an unscheduled repair.
-We have removed the magazines and coffee station from the waiting room, to prevent cross contamination.
Upon being called to the operatory, each patient will need to rinse with antiseptic mouthwash before treatment.
For the safety of our guests, and our employees, Tide Dry Cleaners is temporarily changing our hours of operation. For those who cannot visit our store during this temporary change, please use our 24-hour drop box and kiosk to pick-up your items at your convenience. Thank you for being a valued Tide Cleaners customer, and stay safe.
