Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County

COVID-19 Announcement:

The Kendall County Office is working remotely and actively. We are serving the veteran community via phone and internet and are doing our best to handle business as usual without contact. We will handle all necessary paperwork and make sure it still gets to the appropriate agencies. We will continue our high level of service, just by phone and email until further notice.

*Please call our office instead of walking-in. Due to higher call volumes, it may take a little longer to get back to you - but we will. Traffic at the health department is at an all-time high and anything we can do to minimize the impact in the building is a positive.

*This virus has had a disproportional impact on the elderly population around the world. Considering that more than 50% of our local veterans are age 65 or older, we want to take these measures out of an abundance of caution.

Village President Troy Parlier issued a second executive order closing Village facilities, including Oswego Village Hall, the Oswego Public Works Facility, and Oswego Police Headquarters, suspending permits for door-to-door solicitors, and allowing packaged liquor sales at businesses that previously only offered on-site consumption
