Speaker Biography: Andrew “Andy” Clements combines both academic and real-world business experience in his teaching at Waubonsee Community College. His passion lies in empowering students with ambitious goals, particularly in areas of business, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Beyond his teaching role, Clements remains engaged in the private sector as the CEO of Weblinx, Inc. This unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application fosters a dynamic learning environment for students. Clements’ entrepreneurial spirit started young; he was awarded “Oswego High School Business Student of the Year” for a student-run business. This passion continued through his education, where he earned an associate’s degree from Waubonsee before transferring to Aurora University for his bachelor’s. He further pursued a Master’s degree in business administration with a focus on operations and technology, solidifying his academic foundation. Clements maintains a strong connection to his community. Residing in Oswego with his wife Katey and two young children, he actively contributes by serving on various non-profit boards. His personal interests include staying informed about economic trends and engaging in philanthropy, while also balancing family time with enthusiasm for cars and video games.
